Engineering graduate takes third place in 2023 SAICE National IP Showdown

A graduate of the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Stellenbosch University (SU) recently came third in the South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE) 2023 National IP Showdown. SAICA joined forces with leading universities nationwide to recognise excellence amongst civil engineering students for their research efforts.

Etienne-Pierre Skein, who graduated in 2022, presented his final year research project on theĀ ā€œDevelopment of a High Modulus Concrete for 3D-Printing Applicationsā€.

About this achievement, he says:
