Our academic year runs from February to November. The first semester is from February to June, and the second semester from July to November.

In most cases, postgraduate students can register in either the first or the second semester.

Closing dates for South African students:
For enrolment in the first semester of a year: 1 December of the preceding year For enrolment in the second semester: 1 June of the year concerned

Closing dates for International students:
For enrolment in the first semester: 30 September of the preceding year For enrolment in the second semester: 15 March of the year concerned

Late applications will be considered on merit.
